Fiber Optics and Electromagnetic Inferences

In my earlier post, we've discussed how fiber optics is critical to facilitate smooth and smart communications networks across all work spheres.  World over, there are so many problems pertaining to data security. What we need to remember is that computer data travels at low speeds and in ordinary environments, it becomes far too costly to use fiber optics to facilitate data transmission between PCs and printers.

A major advantage of optical fibers is that they do not receive or emit any electrical or electromagnetic inferences that cause failure, degradation or breakdowns in electronic equipment.
Fiber optics are typically immune to such disturbances as it neither radiates electro-magnetic fields nor is it vulnerable to other EM fields. Typically, manufacturers of telecommunications equipments make use of optical fiber because it weeds out such cross talk that may occur across telecommunication lines. Share your thoughts and queries about the scope of fiber optics with me because that's what the future is all about.
